Althea Korea Xmas Box Continues

If you ever checked out my previous posts. You can see that I've been raving about korean skin care products lately from Althea Korea. So now I'm going to continue that raving with another AltheaKorea Xmas Box Haul. This supposed to be a December Haul but as you can see I posted it late due to some circumstances. So without further ado let's get to the haul.

I'm not really a hand cream girl but when I found these for only PHP70.00 each why not give it a try, right? I ended up loving the hand cream though, I love the Honey Berry the most. Deep Romance is a little bit masculine for my liking but over all I love this product. It doesn't leave you with sticky hands and this product smells good.

Guys, the reason why I made another purchase from Althea is because of this one. When I found this at their new arrival section I totally freaked out coz I've been wanting to test this one out. I don't know if you heard it already but this product is featured in Wishtrend and even She Goes To Seoul before did a product demo for this one which I ended up wanting to have one.

I love this product not too waxy, easy to blend and perfect for my brow color. I was surprised that it comes along with a refill so diffenitely this product is a good deal.

If you've been reading this blog then you already knew that I started this blog due to my acne problems. And I think one of the reasons that made my skin better is because of Salicylic Acid. If you have checked out my post about skin care then you'll probably get why I add this product. Though I already clear up my skin but I find that it is better to keep your skin cleaned with Salicylic Acid that normal cleansers. Specially for the period days where those nasty little pimples pops like mushrooms.

Althea Korea Xmas Box Again!

 Hi Guys!  I'm back again with another Althea Korea haul. I really liked my first purchase that is why I went back to order some of the stuffs that I  forgot to include from my first one.

So these are the products that I've got from Althea Korea. If you have noticed from my previous purchase I'm more into skin care products. I do believe that having a good skin is more pleasant than wearing a ton of makeup just to cover a horrible skin.

I wanted to get the cherry pink or the red one but sad to say only orange cha cha is available. But still I love this tint because it is long lasting, doesn't transfer and doesn't sting on your lips. I has that sweet fruity scent that makes you want to taste it. By the way, it doesn't taste bad. =D

I think you already noticed that I love Milky Dress products so I also add this one. This is different from the MILKY DRESS THE WHITE PLATINUM but it both has that instant brightening effect when applied to your skin. I use this one instead of foundation whenever I go out for errands. It feels like a facial moisturizer but gives you that dewy no makeup skin. Not heavy on skin and don't leave tacky or oily skin when it settles.

I use Garnier toner or GT Clarifiance toner but I ran out of toners this time so I have to get one. And, I am really happy that I did try this product as it leaves a smooth and moisturized skin. It also comes with a seal so it won't leak perfect for travel or clumsy people like me.

My first ever makeup primer. At first I thought this one is a foundation as it looks like a light foundation by first looking at it. It feels like sheer foundation or bb cream but it doesn't feel heavy on skin, does't leave your skin tacky or sticky and it dries matte with a little coverage . This is perfect for base makeup or you can use this alone for minimal makeup look.

First Purchase Althea Korea Special Christmas Box MILKYDRESS

Finally, my first purchase from Althea Korea arrived!!!. 
First I was very skeptical when I heard about it, though I really love korean makeup products but I'm still not too convinced to try it. Second, the products that I'm looking for is not available on their website. 

But lately, they finally made MILKYDRESS brand available and I was so shocked that I immediately purchased 2 boxes of products. Yes, 2 boxes. I don't know what got in to me but if you checked out my review about MILKYDRESS PREMIUM which I totally raved before, you would difinitely understand. And because its their grand launching of MILKYDRESS products on Althea Korea they are very generous of giving away 20% discount. 

By the way, for every order that you'll going to make it will come in this christmassy box. So this huge box came in the mail it feels like Elsa is showering gifts for me this day. ^_^

I heard a lot of things about beauty bender but I just can't imagine how expensive that thing so I opt for this cute sponge which is more affordable than the fake ones that is sold from other online shops.

Aloe Vera 92% Soothing Gel (Nature Republic)

I got curious about this one which is raved by almost all beauty bloggers. Aloe vera works wonders with acne skin conditions though I no longer have one but this can be useful to improve skincare. 

Take Care Face Mist

I don't have a face mist and I wanted to try one out. But I wanted one that improves skin condition and whitening. Also this one is effective for calming irritated and sensitive skin.

Repair Body Peeling

I also wanted to try this Repair Body Peeling I guess this one will be good to exfoliate dead skin. This is also from MILKY DRESS so I know this one will be good to my skin.

White Virgin is for anti-wrinkle and whitening an gel for small area brightening pigmentation & freckles. I do have lots of dark spots from my acne scaring so this one will be a nice one to try.

If you can notice that almost all of the products that I bought is mostly anti-aging, anti-wrinkle and whitening. So anything about those kind of stuffs I'm in. 

ANGELRING PERFUME

This one litteraly made me freaked out. When I opened the box I thought that this product was spilled because the whole box smelled like berries but when I checked its completely sealed.  I tried it once at the back of my hand and the next morning I still smell it. If you want a long lasting perfume this one is great specially if you like berries.

For me this is a great deal because I know how much MILKY DRESS products in other Korean online shops. I can say that Althea Korea is a great online shop.

Pretty Angel Shoppe Haul

These are my makeup haul of the month of August that I got from Pretty Angel Shoppe. 

I got to admit that I got a good deal with all of the stuffs that I got from them. 

Considering for the price which is very affordable for those who are on a tight budget.

What I got from Pretty Angel Shoppe

Menow True Lips - Php300/box of 12 lip pencils

Kissproof Matte Lipstick - Php120 each

Tofu Soap - Php75

Eye shadow brush - Php35 each

These are the Menow True Lips. 

These are lip liners though for me you can just use them alone or you can top it with lipstick. 

Though some of the colors are not what exaclty it showed on the cap.

Also these are not smudge proof they are just ordinary lip liners.

Swatched shades.

The famous Kissproof matte lipsticks. I only got shade from top 006, 017 and 018.
It dries matte on lips though a little bit drying but still manageable. 
From the word Kissproof, yes, these are kissproof and smudge proof 
that stays longer on your lips compared to ordinary cream lipsticks.

Swatched on my hand these are my wearable shades and the only shades that I got.

Sad to say, Kissproof is not a BFAD approved product and it is made in China. 

But anyway, I won't be using these as often. 

So if you'll buy products make sure to ask if it is BFAD approved just to be safe.

MY VERDICT

Sad to say this gel type tint has Methylparaben. 
And somehow, I find it hard to blend if I used as a cheek blush. 
As you can see above pictures, it tends to leave red patches if not blended well. 
But who cares I use this on my lips anyway. 

I don't feel that stingy feel like other local lip tints do. LEAD?
For the tints longevity it last 4 to 6 hours. 
Love the packaging.

RECOMMENDATIONS

Will you buy?

Yes! For the product quantity and quality it worth the price.
I'm more of a tint than using lipsticks.
Also it contains carrots, sage and shiitake extracts.

For simple make up. Get ample amount and pat around skin.

MY VERDICT:

I can use it as a makeup base, blend it with bb cream or use it alone on my face even without powder. 
Pretty much of an instant whitening effect on your face product. 
It has it's natural dewy finish look that easily evens out skin tone. 
I'm really amaze how this product works great on my skin, promise! 

I only use small amount ‘coz I have oily/combination skin and a pea size can work a long way. 
By the way this product doesn't leave any white cast like other whitening creams do. 
I also noticed that it doesn't feel heavy or sticky at the end of the day. 
It’s like your pores can breathe freely and the best thing is you don't have to worry about sweating.

For the whitening effect, instant whitening is visible right after application, though not that dramatically white magic. 
It’s more of a natural dewy white skin finish. If you have sensitive skin, oily/combination and sweaty face? 
Yes this product is for you. problems about sweating out all your makeup to waste right after putting it on your face? 
This product fixed it. I use to have that same problem. 
After I put it on my face I realize there is no need to put powder or makeup. 
This product alone works great and I'm ready for work after it.
